Description - What Your Day Will Entail

• Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others-adhering to established protocols that ensure reliable results.
• Analyze test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and carry out preventative upkeep and calibration of lab equipment with meticulous care.
• Assist in specimen collection and diligently prepare samples for analytical testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality within the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while meeting all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification pursuit.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of your employment.
• Maintain your certification as a prerequisite throughout your tenure.
