Description - Your Role

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology and more-according to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Meticulously document all procedures, provide training for new team members or students, and play a key role in sustaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
