Security Officer Salary Range: $15 to $20 hourly Position Type: Full-time, Part-time, Flex (Weekends included) Duties and Responsibilities Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Enforces security policies and procedures at all levels. Qualifications Must be 21 years or older. Must have transportation to get to & from jobsite. Must have a functional cell phone with call, text and data capabilities. High School Diploma or GED. Excellent Customer Service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Sound judgment. Integrity. Dependability. Professionalism. Team player. Physical Requirements May require seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. May involve frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
