Your Responsibilities

• Deliver Exceptional Patient Care:
  • Administer physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement personalized care plans to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and restore functionality.
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and daily activities.
  • Support patients with transfers, strength training, and daily living tasks.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities like heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety measures, and the use of assistive devices.
• Monitor Progress & Communicate:
  • Observe and report on patient progress, treatment responses, and any changes in condition.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
  • Engage in case conferences and care coordination activities.
• Collaborate & Contribute:
  • Work closely with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education.
  • Adhere to clinical standards and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Your Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or certification as mandated by state regulations.
• Preferred experience of 1+ year (home health experience is a plus).
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
