Sanitation Associate

Manteca Warehouse, 600 Spreckels Ave, Manteca, CA 95336, USA Description The Sanitation Associate is responsible for performing sanitation and cleanliness duties within the assigned warehouse and office facilities. This role ensures that all areas meet health and cleanliness standards through regular cleaning, waste management, and sanitization practices. The Sanitation Associate plays an essential role in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment to support daily warehouse operations. Essential Job Functions Emptying waste baskets and disposing of trash properly Mopping, vacuuming, sweeping floors, and dusting furniture Sanitizing bathroom sinks, toilets, and other high-touch areas Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of breakrooms and kitchen areas Re‑stock restroom, kitchen, and breakroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and garbage bags Transport and dispose of trash into designated garbage bins or dumpsters Clean and sanitize surfaces and work areas to meet health and safety standards Report safety or fire hazards to supervisor promptly Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure all sanitation tasks are completed thoroughly Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors (excellent written and oral communication skills) Manage time efficiently to complete assigned cleaning tasks Organize and maintain a clean and orderly environment within the warehouse and office areas Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily sanitation goals Apply proper use of cleaning and sanitation equipment, supplies, and procedures Physical Demands Lifting, bending, and standing for long periods Working in varying temperature and environmental conditions Equipment Used Mops Brooms Personal protective equipment (PPE) Safety Follow Daiso USA safety policies and procedures at all times to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
