Blazer Jobs is partnering with a supportive school district in the northern Denver, CO area to hire multiple Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year. This district serves approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites and is known for being welcoming to both new graduates and experienced educators.

About the Opportunities:
We are hiring for a variety of SPED roles across elementary, middle, and high school settings, including resource/general education support and center-based classrooms. These positions offer the opportunity to work with diverse student populations, including mild/moderate and moderate/severe needs, with some roles focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delay programs.

Available Roles Include:

• Resource/General Education SPED Teachers (K–12)
• Inclusive Learning Classroom Teachers (Moderate–Severe, ASD, Developmental Delay)

Position Details:

• Location: Northern Denver, CO area
• Start Date: July 29, 2026
• End Date: May 28, 2027
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Setting: Onsite only (no virtual or hybrid options)
• Caseloads vary (approximately 10–40 students depending on role)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs
• Provide specialized instruction based on student needs
• Manage caseloads and ensure compliance with timelines
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social development

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License (or in process)
• Ability to manage IEP timelines and case management responsibilities
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• CPI training is a plus (district provides training if needed)

Additional Notes:

• Candidates in the process of obtaining CDE licensure are encouraged to apply (must provide status)
• Travel candidates are welcome; please be prepared to discuss relocation timeline
• District requires all positions to be fully onsite

Interview Process:

• Step 1: Virtual screening with Director of Integrated Services (15–30 minutes)
• Step 2: Panel interview (45–60 minutes, onsite preferred but virtual available if needed)
