Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver high-quality obstetric care for high-risk patients, including managing magnesium and insulin drips.
  
  
• 
  Conduct fetal monitoring and respond promptly to any signs of distress.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems such as CPN/Meditech.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all unit policies, safety protocols, and guidelines for maternal and neonatal care.
  
  
• 
  Assist in procedures, including circulating and scrubbing for OB interventions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of travel experience in high-risk L&D settings.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP; all certifications must be current and included in submission.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate intermediate fetal monitoring skills and experience with OBED procedures.
  
  
• 
  Show ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-volume, high-acuity environment.
  
  
• 
  Have reliable availability with a start date within 5-7 days of offer.
  
  
• 
  Be adaptable to floating within the womens health units as needed.
