Responsibilities

• Run time reports multiple times weekly and send them out to employees and supervisors to ensure we are compliant with DCAA and employees are completing their timesheets regularly.
• Review, understand, and explain the MyTime setup based on the contracts requirement and report issue to the HCMS & Payroll Manager.
• Train new employees and supervisors on how to use the time keeping system and make them aware of the time keeping policy and where to find it.
• Help to process any and all labor adjustments that cannot be done by the employee or supervisor.
• Help to build process improvements as we start to stabilize and communicate those to managers and employees
• Communicate any and all timesheet issues daily that need to be corrected or fixed with the Payroll and/or HRIS manager.
• Audit time and adjustments when working on the pre-check reports during payroll processing.
• Monitor and review payroll deduction and payment program to include benefits, child support, garnishments, relocation, reimbursements etc.
• Proactively analyze payroll program to identify inefficiencies in processes and suggest enhancements and present proposals to Payroll Manager. Identify change management issues as they pertain to process improvement and proactively address them.
• Validate timekeeping records and notify managers and employees of errors.
• Track time off, unpaid hours, and leave hours in time keeping system.
• Generates reports and queries.
• Assist with audit request for internal and external auditors.
• Foster relationships with other functional areas to understand business needs and employee issues.
• Assist with new user training.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Maintains the highest ethical personal and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR Education/Experience Equivalent.
• HCM Payroll System experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products, with strong proficiency in Word and Excel is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use analysis to resolve complex accounting issues.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience working in the aerospace/defense industry is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position (if required for the position).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (if required for the position).
• The essential physical requirements of the position will be reviewed with the applicant during the interview.
• Some travel will be required.
• Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

Physical Requirements:

Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. At times, must be able to work in aircraft hangar environment and board / exit aircraft. At times, must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and stoop. Must be able to walk particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Must be able to work primarily with fingers such as typing. Must be able to work at heights, subject to noise, subject to a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, work on scaffolding, exposure to heat/cold. Must be able to communicate effectively.
