Immigration Paralegal

Prepare, review, and file employment-based immigration applications, including I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status (AOS), and DS-260 applications. Maintain consistent communication with clients, guiding them through the immigration process while ensuring timely responses and adherence to deadlines. Draft, review, and revise all required immigration forms and supporting documentation prior to attorney review. Monitor case progress and follow up with appropriate immigration agencies to track status and submit required inquiries. Respond to client and employee inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner. Prepare and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other government correspondence. Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical case files in compliance with firm and regulatory standards. Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and compliance procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of work. Assist with administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, and assembling filing packages. Collaborate effectively with intake specialists, legal assistants, and other team members to support case processing. Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members as needed. Qualifications: 4-7 Years of BUSINESS IMMIGRATION experience. Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred. Experience with I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status applications, and Consular Processing (DS-260 applications). Experience in PERM is a plus. Knowledge and experience in handling Immigration/Inadmissibility Issues. Proficiency in Form Preparation and related administrative processes. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for case management and documentation. Fluency in Spanish is required. Must have relevant references in business immigration. Starting salary of $70,000, with potential for increase based on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
