About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Market Public Affairs to serve as the senior-most leader in the market, responsible for advancing and protecting the company's reputation, mission, and business objectives. This role involves strategic leadership, executive counsel, and the coordination of public affairs activities across various functions, including integrated communications, media relations, community affairs, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to the Regional President and market leadership team, ensuring that enterprise public affairs priorities are effectively translated into market strategies and that local market realities inform enterprise decision-making. The Vice President will also lead a market-based public affairs team, oversee market media relations, and maintain strong relationships with local and regional stakeholders. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' leadership experience in public affairs or related disciplines, with a Bachelor's degree required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in integrated public affairs functions, a deep understanding of healthcare delivery systems, and the ability to operate within highly matrixed organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in highly regulated industries, with a preference for those with a background in healthcare. The Vice President will be responsible for issues management, market intelligence, and team leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration, and ensuring the company's presence is visible, trusted, and credible in the communities it serves.
