Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Heart and Vascular Institute and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, educating and evaluating medically referred patients in accordance with all established nursing standards and hospital policies. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse assists patients in achieving rehabilitation from, and slowing the progression of, cardiac disease through exercise and education.
