We are currently looking for seasonal summer employees to work at our Beach Club House, which will be opening Memorial Day weekend.
Qualifications
Ability to cook food correctly in a timely fashion while focusing on quality and presentation.
Able to read and understand recipes and procedures.
Able to use kitchen tools and appliances safely and effectively.
Prior Experience working in A Ala Carte Kitchen
Knowledge and experience of various cooking techniques
Employee is occasionally required to lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, taste and smell
Food Handlers Certification
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must be a team player with a positive attitude
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- ability to be standing for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
Set up and Stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
Daily cleaning of the Pantry/ Cooler, Cooking Line and Prep Area.
Provide Excellent Quality and Presentation of all food to the Guests in a timely manner.
Ability to communicate effectively with the managers and employees in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible for cleanliness and organization of station.
Comply with sanitation regulation and safety standards.
Assist with other duties as assigned by Executive chef or Sous chef.
Follow Departmental polices as well as club rules and regulation set forth by Employee handbook and by management.
