Chief Executive Officer

Salary: Commensurate with Experience/Education The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the primary leader and strategic visionary of the organization, responsible for advancing its mission, ensuring long-term sustainability, and driving measurable impact. The CEO shall report directly to and work in close partnership with the Board of Directors to set direction, secure resources, and lead the team while serving as the public face of the organization. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision Working with the Board of Directors, develop and execute a clear, forward-looking strategic plan aligned with the organization’s mission and goals Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and expanded impact Monitor industry trends, community needs, and policy changes to inform strategy Board Partnership & Governance Partner with the Board of Directors to support strong governance and strategic decision-making Provide regular updates on organizational performance, financial health, and key initiatives Support board development, engagement, and recruitment Lead and actively participate in fundraising efforts, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, and grants Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community leaders Serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the organization Strengthen the organization’s brand, visibility, and community presence Ensure sound fiscal management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Oversee revenue diversification strategies to support long-term sustainability Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards Operations & Program Oversight Oversee organizational operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with mission Evaluate and strengthen programs to maximize impact and outcomes Leverage data and metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement Champion innovation in programs, service delivery, and organizational practices Explore partnerships, expansions, and new initiatives to scale impact Integrate technology and modern tools to enhance operations and engagement Build, lead, and retain a high-performing, mission-driven team Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative organizational culture Support leadership development and succession planning across the organization Qualifications Proven executive leadership experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization Demonstrated success in fundraising and revenue generation #J-18808-Ljbffr Cgph
