About the Role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Rough Carpenters to join our construction team on a large-scale outdoor project site (approximately 580 acres) . This role involves extensive walking, working outdoors in the Florida heat, and assisting with the installation of metal safety railings and structural components across the job site .
The ideal candidate has experience with rough carpentry, construction site work, and structural installations , and is comfortable working in physically demanding environments while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation and assembly of metal safety railings and structural components throughout the construction site
Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to project specifications
Support rough carpentry work including framing, structural installations, and site preparation
Read and interpret basic blueprints, layouts, and construction plans
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
Transport materials and equipment across a large job site (approximately 580 acres)
Work outdoors for extended periods in heat, sun, and changing weather conditions
Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all job site safety regulations
Collaborate with supervisors, foremen, and other trades to ensure project deadlines are met
Requirements
3+ years of rough carpentry or construction experience preferred
Experience with framing, structural work, or railing installation is a plus
Ability to work outdoors for long periods in heat and physically demanding conditions
Comfortable walking long distances throughout a large job site
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Basic ability to read measurements and construction layouts
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Commitment to job site safety and teamwork
