Job Description

As a member of the Rainforest Runners Inc. team, you will safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial customers. This role requires excellent time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experience. Compensation: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours per week full time: 40

Expected hours per week part time: 10+

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery van while following all traffic laws and Amazon safety standards.
• Load, organize, and deliver packages efficiently to homes and businesses.
• Navigate delivery routes using GPS and Amazon delivery technology.
• Complete deliveries accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during every delivery.
• Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when required.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, route issues, or delays.
• Follow all company policies, DOT regulations (where applicable), and Amazon operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure delivery vehicle.
• Work in varying weather conditions and safely lift, carry, and deliver packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull packages up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable walking, climbing stairs, and entering/exiting a delivery vehicle throughout the day.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while meeting performance expectations.
• Previous delivery, courier, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
