Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• 7 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - University of Chicago Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - University of Chicago Medical Center.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Chronic ventilator experience. - RN must be competent in rhythm strip interpretation. - Must have tele experience in work history; candidates with only ICU experience in work history will not be considered.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Prefer competence in initiating and maintaining cardiac drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Cares for MI, arrhythmia, CVA, syncope, DKA, CHF, post pacemaker, stent, EP study, COVID, ESRD, and PE patients. - Uses EKG. - RN is responsible for all aspects of trach care/management; RT is available if needed. - RN ratio may go to 6 at times; CNA ratio 10-12.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - RTO restrictions: 7 days max.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days. End assignment restriction: 7 days
