• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Unit Staffing Description: Tech available

Equipment

• Welch Allyn Vital Signs Machines
• Hoyer Lift
• Sarah Steady Lift
• Telemetry Equipment
• Bladder Scanner
• Doppler

Scheduling Requirements

• 3 shifts per week
• 3-4 weekend shifts required

Floating Policy

Agency and contract staff may be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency as per contract guidelines.

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Must Have: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Stroke experience, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Skills: Cardiac drips management, telemetry, and neurology experience
• Advanced Skills: Management of cardiac drips and basic dysrhythmia knowledge

Certifications Required

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy Blue
