Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of: Orthopedics, Spine.The Pre Op Pacu Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge. The Pre Op Pacu Registered Nurse provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The Pre Op Pacu Registered Nurse provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The Pre Op Pacu Registered Nurse supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The Pre Op Pacu Registered Nurse reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited RN School of NursingActive RN license in the stateBLS, ACLS and PALS requiredMinimum of 2 years experience in Pre Op Pacu, Med/Surg or Critical Care.
