Construction Project Management Intern

Maintain subcontractor files, job folders, and project documentation Support project schedule updates and track project milestones Develop and manage project correspondence with subcontractors, suppliers, design firms, and owner representatives Review shop drawings, transmittals, bulletins, addenda, purchase orders, and change orders Monitor construction schedules and assist with critical path schedule updates based on actual project progress Support processing of progress payments, change orders, and extra work orders Assist with developing and tracking project punch lists Participate in project team, progress, and scheduling meetings Record and follow up on meeting notes and action items Maintain project logs and organize project paperwork Assist with construction inspections and review construction drawings and blueprints Gain hands-on experience supporting active construction projects from planning through completion Requirements Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field Junior or Senior standing preferred Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred Ability to work full-time during the summer internship period Interest in construction project management and the construction industry Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Customer service mindset and professional attitude Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities Familiarity with construction documents, blueprints, specifications, and contracts Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced project environment Attention to detail and a willingness to learn Core Competencies Demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills essential for managing project documentation, schedules, and correspondence in construction project management.
