Position Summary

SOS Culinary is seeking experienced Cook 1 & 2 pros to join our team at high-volume fine dining venue. In this role, you will prepare exceptional dishes in a fast-paced, upscale environment while delivering the highest standards of quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates are versatile line cooks with strong fine dining or high-volume hotel experience who thrive in dynamic kitchens and are open to exciting travel opportunities with provided housing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook a variety of menu items (appetizers, entrées, sides, sauces, and specials) to exacting fine dining standards in a high-volume setting.
• Execute stations efficiently during peak service periods while maintaining quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Collaborate closely with Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and menu execution.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness (HACCP and ServSafe practices).
• Monitor inventory, assist with ordering and receiving, and minimize waste.
• Adapt quickly to new menus, techniques, and property-specific standards.
• Uphold SOS Culinary and client expectations for professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional guest service through food.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of line cook experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, or luxury hotel kitchens (Cook 1 -2 or equivalent level preferred).
• Strong proficiency in multiple stations (grill, sauté, garde manger, etc.) and ability to handle high-volume service.
• Knowledge of classical cooking techniques, food safety standards, and allergy accommodations.
• Reliable, positive attitude with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid food handler’s certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred.
• Open to travel and seasonal assignments with provided housing.
• E-Verified and background check clearance required.
