Position Overview:Design, develop, and support modern cloud-native enterprise applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal consultant has experience developing secure, scalable applications within financial services or legal organizations and is passionate about modern software engineering, cloud-native architecture, AI integration, and enterprise API development.This role will collaborate closely with Application Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, DevOps Engineers, and Infrastructure teams to deliver mission-critical applications utilizing .NET 10 LTS, React, Azure PaaS, AI services, and modern distributed architectures.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using .NET 10 LTS and React.Build modern RESTful services using Minimal APIs, ASP.NET Core, and microservices architecture.Develop scalable cloud-native applications leveraging Azure PaaS technologies.Design and consume secure enterprise APIs using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Microsoft Entra ID.Build responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.Participate in application modernization initiatives, migrating legacy applications to cloud-native architectures.Develop event-driven services utilizing Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications using Azure OpenAI, Microsoft.Extensions.AI, ML.NET, or Microsoft Agent Framework.Utilize GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, and distributed tracing.Write automated unit, integration, and API tests.Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer code reviews, architecture discussions, and DevOps initiatives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.5+ years developing enterprise applications.Experience within financial services, banking, investment management, insurance, or legal organizations.Strong experience developing enterprise applications using: .NET 10 LTS, ASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs, C#, React, TypeScript.Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.Experience building cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.Strong SQL Server development experience.Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and event-driven architecture.Working knowledge of Docker and containerized application development.Experience with Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps.Experience working within Agile development environments.Technical Skills: Microsoft Development Stack: .NET 10 LTS, ASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs, Native AOT, Entity Framework Core, C#, LINQ, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GitPreferred Skills:Blazor, .NET MAUIFront-End Development: React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Redux, Responsive DesignCloud & Azure PaaS: Azure App Services, Deployment Slots, Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, Durable Functions, Azure Functions Flex Consumption, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure API Management, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure Service BusAPIs & Security: REST APIs, Minimal APIs, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT Authentication, Microsoft Entra ID, OpenAPI / Swagger, API ManagementData Technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Database Design, Query Optimization, Entity Framework Core, Data ModelingCloud-Native Architecture: Microservices, Modular Monoliths, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Circuit Breakers, Retry Policies, Idempotency PatternsDevOps & Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform, CI / CDObservability & Performance: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, Distributed Tracing, Structured Logging, Performance Profiling, Dynatrace, New Relic Artificial Intelligence: Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft.Extensions.AI, Microsoft Agent Framework, ML.NET, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered application integration, Responsible AI practices.
