Patient Relations Coordinator

Job Description South Texas Periodontal Associates are seeking for a friendly, reliable, and professional Patient Relations Coordinator to join our dental team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients while supporting the daily administrative operations of the office. Periodontal experience, dual language and active RDA license are PLUSES. This is a Full-time opportunity and offers competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service Schedule and confirm patient appointments Answer phone calls and assist with patients and referring offices Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Assist with insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and follow-up Communicate patient financial responsibilities for their visits Maintain accurate patient and insurance information Coordinate with the team to keep the schedule full and effective Assist with other font-office duties as needed Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of dental office and/or dental insurance experience required Friendly and professional with excellent customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and organized Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable speaking with patients in person and over the phone Able to multitask and work effectively in a busy dental office Computer proficiency and the ability to learn programs as required Periodontal experience, dual language and active RDA license are PLUSES Hours of Operation: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30am to 5:00pm. Education/Certification: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
