Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field required
• California SLPA license in good standing
• Prior school-based experience preferred, especially working with K-12 students
• Solid understanding of speech and language development in school-aged children
• Capable of collaborating effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students under supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement individualized treatment plans and support academic communication goals
• Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Adapt strategies for varied grade levels, addressing needs from kindergarteners to high school seniors
• Communicate regularly with supervising clinicians and educational teams for coordinated support
• Contribute to an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere that empowers all students
