You'll work on a platform that's proven and mission-critical, the kind of environment where thoughtful engineering has immediate, visible impact.JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking a Core Quality Engineer to join our Trading Platform Engineering team within Investment Implementation & Trading (IIT) Technology. In this role you will support business-critical applications in an asset management environment. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through testing and automation. You’ll work closely with technology team members and business partners to deliver resilient systems and continuously improve how we build and test software.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain testing artifacts including test strategies, plans, and casesExecute functional, regression, and integration testingDevelop and maintain automated test scriptsCollaborate with development and business teamsTrack and manage defectsPerform backend and database testingAlign with QE standards and best practicesQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience in Quality engineering or related rolesUnderstanding of order management systems and trade lifecycle processesExperience with Selenium, Karate, UFT, or REST AssuredSQL and database testing knowledgeStrong analytical skillsHands-on experience with Agile software development practicesPreferred ExperienceThese are qualifications that would be helpful for the position but are not firm requirements.Working knowledge of Order Management systemsFamiliarity CI/CD toolsAI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar)What We ValueStrong problem-solving and communication skillsOwnership mindset and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentInterest in continuous learning and improving systems at scale.Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? The base salary range for this position is:USD 80,000 - 150,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education.
