About the Role
We're seeking a B2B Collections Specialist to manage a portfolio of commercial accounts and drive timely payment on past-due balances. You'll work directly with customers' AP teams and decision-makers, resolving issues while maintaining strong business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial accounts and prioritize collection efforts using aging reports.
- Make collection calls and send follow-ups to secure payment on past-due invoices.
- Negotiate payment plans and resolve billing disputes with internal teams.
- Recommend credit holds or escalations when needed.
- Maintain accurate account notes and report on collection metrics.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B or commercial collections, AR, or credit experience.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with an ERP or accounting system and proficiency in Excel.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-through.
