About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of increasing access to capital for entrepreneurs and businesses in local communities. The successful candidate will be a visionary, mission-driven leader with a calm, steady, and confident presence, capable of representing the organization across diverse stakeholders. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include managing operations, developing and executing strategic priorities, overseeing fundraising and resource development, and driving corporate sponsorships and partnerships. The role also involves collaborating with entrepreneurs, community partners, and ecosystem leaders to foster innovation and opportunity, as well as leading the planning and execution of signature events. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), at least 5 years' of senior management experience in mission-driven organizations, and a proven track record in leading and scaling outcomes-driven initiatives. The Executive Director will be expected to have a strong understanding of nonprofit financial management, budgeting, compliance, and fundraising, as well as experience in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. They should possess excellent communication skills, be a persuasive and credible communicator, and have the ability to engage with diverse communities and partners. A collaborative leadership style, a balance of professionalism and approachability, and a deep commitment to the company's mission are essential. The role requires a leader with strong business judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to support board governance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to see long-term opportunities while ensuring strong day-to-day execution, and will be adept at building trust and alignment across various stakeholder groups.
