As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, parking areas, loading docks, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity records, while following applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
