Senior Human Resources GeneralistSTV is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join the Human Resources team. This is designated as a hybrid position (3 days/week in office) and can be in our Philadelphia, New York, or Newark offices.OverviewThe Human Resources Generalist serves as a key partner to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees across the organization. This role supports the delivery of HR programs, employee relations, talent processes, compliance initiatives, and day-to-day HR operations while helping create a positive and engaging employee experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.DutiesServe as the first point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR-related questions, providing timely guidance and escalating complex matters when appropriate.Process employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and offboarding.Partner with HR Business Partners to identify and implement solutions that support business objectives.Maintain data integrity within Workday and/or Dayforce systems.Assist with annual HR programs such as performance reviews, compensation planning, talent reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.Generate and analyze workforce metrics and reports to support business and HR decision-making, recommending courses of action.Support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, workplace concerns, and documentation.Lead and support special HR projects and initiatives by establishing timelines, conducting research, analyzing data, and implementing solutions that improve HR operations and employee experience.Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concernsComply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislationEnhance department services by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsContinue to develop job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizationsThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and others will be assigned as necessaryQualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree5+ years of relevant experience – possible roles include HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Representative, HR Specialist, etc.Demonstrated skills to include:Detail-oriented and responsive, ensuring closed-loop communicationProblem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindsetInquisitive and resourcefulA focus on client serviceStrong time management and prioritizationStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Forms)Experience in the following is highly desired:Workday or Dayforce HCMAEC industryEmployee Relations#HYBRIDThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.Compensation Range:$83,978.91 - $95,975.90STV offers the following benefits:Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings AccountDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)Disability insuranceLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment401(k) PlanRetirement CounselingEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysBack-Up Dependent CareParental LeaveContinuing Education ProgramProfessional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
