Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in the Endoscopy/Procedure area, including pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure recovery for adults, adolescents, and geriatrics.
- Assess patient needs, develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the care team, monitor progress, and adjust as conditions change.
- Administer medications and monitor responses; support the endoscopy team during procedures with appropriate preparation and documentation.
- Educate patients and families about procedure expectations, self-care, and post-discharge needs to support recovery and safety at home.
- Maintain infection prevention practices, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Manage shift duties within a 6:30-7:30 a.m. start window, and fulfill call responsibilities with timely response.

Requirements
- Active NYS Registered Nurse licensure
- Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy (Endo) RN experience
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIHSS (as applicable)
- Ability to work in an Endoscopy-procedural environment and participate in a call rotation
- Willingness to travel and commit to a 23-week assignment
