Contract Registered Nurse (RN) - GI/Endoscopy Lab

This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in the GI/Endoscopy Lab. The role involves working a schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday. The position requires collaboration with a dedicated team to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information

• Number of Procedure Rooms: 4
• Number of PACU Bays: 9
• Staff Composition: 8 RNs, 5 Technicians, 1 X-ray Technician, 1 Transport Staff
• Patient Ratios: 1 Nurse per 2 Patients in PACU

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role.
• Certifications:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Essential Skills:
  • Airway management
  • PACU experience
• Preferred Skills:
  • Gastrointestinal (GI) experience

Typical Procedures

The unit performs various endoscopic procedures, requiring skilled nursing care to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Work Environment
