Job Opportunity – Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7 on/7 off rotation. Monday-Friday 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM, 24-hour coverage Saturday-Sunday (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM). Standard 40 hours per week paid.

Highlights:

• Rotating on-call coverage providing after-hours hospice care to patients and families in their most critical moments

• Provide holistic, family-centered hospice care including admissions, symptom management, and end-of-life support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized care plans meet physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
• Extensive hospice nursing experience required
• Proven on-call hospice experience required
• Hospice admissions experience required
• Proficiency with HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) EMR system
• Strong assessment skills for pain management and comfort care
• Excellent communication and teaching skills for patient, family, and caregiver education
