Essex North Shore is seeking a School Adjustment Counselor to start immediately.

Satisfactory CORI, SORI, and SAFIS.

MA DESE licensure required.

LMHC or LICSW preferred.

Bilingual preferred.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To):

• Provide school-based counseling services focused on social-emotional skill development, as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Accommodation Plans, and/or for students receiving general education services.
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, families, and other members of the student support team to develop and implement appropriate interventions for students in need.
• Provide school-based crisis intervention and support services to identified students.
• Support the development and implementation of programs, activities, and initiatives that promote student engagement, belonging, and a positive school climate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and complete all required paperwork in accordance with district and school policies, as well as applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
• Maintain consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance, recognizing that regular presence is essential to providing effective student support and supervision.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of School Counseling and Admissions and/or the Director of Special Education.
