Heavy Equipment OperatorLocation: Moorhead MNJob Type: Full Time Salary: $26 - $32 per hour – 401k, Health, Dental, Vision, and PTOWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a variety of heavy machinery, such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders, to assist in the construction, maintenance, and excavation of projects. This position requires strong attention to safety protocols, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solid understanding of construction site procedures, and working out of Moorhead for multiple days at a time that will require staying in a hotel.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and maintain heavy equipmentFollow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environmentExcavate 20ft deep trenches safelyMaintain grade and depth in trenchesOperate 1ton Truck with Gooseneck. (CDL Required)Operate Tactor/Low Boy Trailer (CDL Required)Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintain equipment in good working conditionCollaborate with team members to execute project plans and schedulesAssist in loading, unloading, and transporting materialsReport any malfunctions or issues with equipment to the supervisorEnsure the job site is kept clean and organizedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license & Class A CDL (or the ability to obtain a CDL)2 years of experience in heavy equipment operationAbility to interpret blueprints and follow instructionsAbility to operate and use GPS systems and Laser'sAbility to lift 50lbs and perform manual labor type tasksExcellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detailStrong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a teamAbility to work in various weather conditionsPreferred SkillsExperience with excavators, skid steers, and loadersAdditional safety certifications (OSHA, etc.)Benefits: 401k, Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Year End Bonus's
