We are a patient-centered healthcare organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, value-based care to Medicare and senior populations. Our clinic emphasizes preventative care, chronic disease management, and improved patient outcomes through a collaborative care model.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Director to lead clinical operations for our Medicare-focused clinic. This role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective care for our senior patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all providers and care teams
- Deliver direct patient care to Medicare patients (as needed)
- Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and Medicare regulations
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
- Lead care coordination and population health strategies
- Monitor performance metrics, including HEDIS, risk adjustment (RAF), and quality scores
- Mentor and supervise physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
- Collaborate with administrative leadership on strategic planning and growth
- Support audits, chart reviews, and documentation accuracy
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Active, unrestricted medical license in [State]
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience; leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, value-based care, and risk adjustment models
- Experience working with senior populations or in geriatric care settings
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Must be California Board Certified.
