Details Operating Room in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week Call shifts required Weekend and holiday coverage required Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Block scheduling is not available for this position No on-call ratio outside of call shifts required by the OR schedule Requirements Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Previous travel nursing experience required Level 1 trauma center OR experience required Proven success in high-pressure, high-volume trauma environments with diverse and severe cases Strong OR skills with a high rating on skills checklist required Burn experience preferred Copies of all active certifications required for consideration Additional Information This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center — candidates must have a background in large-scale, high-volume hospital environments; those with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered Local candidates are accepted for this position Skills checklist submitted must match the OR specialty Job ID #P-707480.
