About the Role
The Company is seeking a Division Chief of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine to lead its premier academic pediatric cardiac critical care division. The successful candidate will be a board-certified physician in pediatric critical care medicine and/or pediatric cardiology, with a proven track record of leadership and a commitment to the highest standards of clinical care, education, research, and advocacy. The role involves overseeing the clinical, research, and educational activities of the division, as well as leading a multi-professional team that provides specialized care to patients with congenital and acquired heart conditions. The Division Chief will also be responsible for faculty recruitment, career development, and mentoring, and will play a key role in the strategic planning and execution of the division's mission. Candidates for the Division Chief position must have a Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine, with experience in healthcare systems administration, hospital operations, and practice management in a large, academic medical center or a similarly complex environment. Training in safety and quality improvement is required, as is a working knowledge of applicable guidelines, policies, and regulations. The role demands a leader who can model and sustain a divisional culture aligned with the company's values, and who is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, innovation, and advancement in the field of pediatric cardiac critical care. The Division Chief will be expected to have a strong academic background, with a focus on advancing the division's research program and actively participating in multicenter research initiatives.
