Commercial HVAC Installer / Service Technician (Traveling) Wood Air Conditioning & Plumbing, a top‑tier Commercial HVAC & Plumbing company based in Mount Pleasant, TX, is looking for Commercial HVAC Installers/Technicians to join our traveling crew. What We Offer Top Pay: $18.00 – $22.00/hour (paid weekly) Travel Perks: $40/day per diem, plus all lodging and transportation fully covered Insurance & Benefits: Affordable, full-coverage medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Short‑ and long‑term disability 401(k) with an industry‑leading match: Contribute 6%, get 4% Paid Time Off: Up to 20 days of PTO, based on experience—plus paid holidays Growth & Stability: Long‑term work with a reputable, growing company Job Type Full‑time Your Role Install and service HVAC systems and related components for Walmart stores and other major commercial projects Fabricate sheet‑metal ductwork and pipe for HVAC systems Read blueprints and technical drawings, coordinate with team members, and complete jobs on time and on budget while maintaining safety standards What We're Looking For 1+ years of hands‑on commercial HVAC installation and/or service experience Willingness to travel for extended trips (road warrior mentality) Experience with Walmart installs or similar national chains preferred Experience in sheet‑metal, ductwork, and pipefitting considered strong plus Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork mindset Reliable transportation to meet points and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record preferred About Wood Air For decades, Wood Air has been the go‑to provider for commercial HVAC and plumbing services across the region.
