General Liability Associate | Basking Ridge, NJ | Hybrid | $190K
\n \nSeeking a mid-level General Liability Associate with 2–9 years of post-bar experience and an active New Jersey bar. This is not a clerkship or first-year seat.
\nOur client is a national insurance-defense firm with a New Jersey hub in Basking Ridge. The docket is New Jersey general liability and premises work, staffed locally and backed by a multi-state platform. The office is known as low-pressure and well mentored. Trial is part of the practice, not a brochure line.

Key Duties:

- Defend general liability and premises matters in New Jersey state and federal court \n
- Manage discovery, depositions, and motion practice \n
- Handle hearings, mediations, and trial prep \n
- Advise carriers on exposure and strategy \n
- Take ownership of New Jersey files through resolution \n
Requirements:

- JD and active New Jersey bar \n
- 2–9 years of post-bar general liability or insurance defense experience \n
- Current or recent title of Associate or equivalent — law clerks and summer associates will not be considered \n
- Deposition and court-appearance experience \n
