Brake Press Operator

Press Brake Operator We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, working with precision tools, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 13+ years of experience operating press brake machines (or similar equipment) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Basic math and problem-solving skills Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Preferred Skills: Experience with CNC press brake machines Knowledge of different metals and their properties Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and teamwork skills Shift: M-F, 6:00-2:30 (Overtime sometimes required) Wages commiserate with experience / skill: $16-$20 per hour Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
