* *Full-Time, salaried non-exempt, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, with some weekends, as needed*

*Your goals and objectives include:*

* The Registered Dietitian also serves as the Dietary/Kitchen supervisor (provides supervision/mentorship to the Lead Chef)
* Approves menus including modified diets from the hospital, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsel's patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles.
* Monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provides input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs.
* Coordinate Dietary Services Department within The Joint Commission (TJC) standards
* Knowledge of all facets of nutritional and dietary planning, including unique dietary needs of adolescents and adults age groups.

*Qualifications and Requirements:*

* Master's degree *REQUIRED (effective 2020) *
* *Utah Registered Dietitan (RD) license REQUIRED*
* Food Handler's permit required
* One (1) - three (3) years dietitian experience in an acute psychiatric hospital setting preferred.
* Strong knowledge of The JOINT COMMISSION standards
* Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass thorough pre-employment background check and drug test
