The Maintenance Supervisor also supports continuous improvement efforts, enforces safety and compliance standards, and ensures maintenance resources are used effectively to support production goals. WHAT YOU'LL DOPlan,coordinateand direct the day-to-day activities of maintenance staff in the Liquid Products division toexpeditework order processing, production breakdown response, efficient project completion, and implementation of other maintenance policies and procedures and to ensure work is performed in compliance with established guidelines for safety and productivity.Manage the maintenance programs for production machinery, related equipment, and spare parts inventory to ensure maintenance standards are met, to minimize down-time, and to meet production schedule requirements. Plan andcoordinatethe activities of external contractors on projects related to equipment maintenance, performanceimprovementand modifications. Design or lay out in-house projects with the project engineer to enhance company productivity and reduce down-time. Monitor the budget to ensure that maintenance costs are withinplan. Communicate with maintenance staff and other employees todisseminatemaintenance standards and ensure compliance with GSF and regulatory agency standards. Adhere to food safety,qualityand legal compliance.In the event of a crisis (i.e. product recall, fire, etc.) delegate responsibilities as outlined in the Crisis Communications and Management Guide.Adhere tosafety,healthand environmental standards of the facility. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Education & Experience Up to18 monthsofpost-highschool education n engineering or electronics from an accredited vocational,technicalor junior college. 5-10 years of relevant experience Skills & Competencies Knowledge of Electrical,hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler and other systems. Supervisory concepts and techniquesProject Management experienceMaintenance in a manufacturing environmentPC work processing/spreadsheet software application experienceRead diagrams and blueprintsInterpret maintenance anomalies orirregularitiesandidentifysolutionsCommunicate and coordinate effectively both verbally and in writingCommunicate and coordinate effectively with internal customersRead and process written informationwitha high degree of accuracyWork Environment & Physical Requirements Climb, crawl, squat, kneel reach or twistLift, push, pull or carry objects over 25 poundsWork effectively in a general business environment, with a focus onhigh levelsof quality and customer serviceThird Shift Schedule, subject to operational needsPAY & BENEFITSPay Range: $90,000 - $110,000Other Compensation:Mayinclude shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.Health and Wellness:Medical, Dental, Vision benefits.Retirement Benefits: 401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO):Includesvacation, sick leave, and paid company holidays providedin accordance withcompany policy and applicable state and locallaws.
