REGISTERED NURSE (RN) OLDER ADULT UNIT

Full Time Nights 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility). A growing 144-bed behavioral health facility – Metropolitan Behavioral Health Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy. They oversee and direct the LPNs and MHTs on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients. A passion to work with older adults is ideal. Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred. Licensure: RN license issued by the State of Michigan. Work Hours: Full-Time Night Shift (7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.). This position also works rotating holidays and every other weekend.
