Job Description
The Loader/Unloader plays a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by managing the timely loading and unloading of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and organizing the warehouse environment. Working within a small team and reporting to the warehouse supervisor, this role involves using both manual handling techniques and forklifts to support daily workflow, often including weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Handle materials manually and operate forklifts and warehouse machinery
- Track inventory and update records accurately
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Work regular shifts including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift operation certification or experience
- Experience with inventory management systems
