Preferred qualifications: Experience leading cross‑functional operational and strategic initiatives. Experience with Cloud business. Ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring insights. Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Business Strategy team helps drive critical strategic initiatives and operational excellence. The team's mission is to empower product leadership by identifying growth, profitability, and partnership opportunities. As the GDC Product Manager, you will work with product, engineering and GTM leadership, providing key business insights, identifying and driving key strategic initiatives. You will lead multi‑disciplinary projects, manage ambiguous challenges, collect data, draw insight from analysis, apply business judgment, and develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $163,000‑$237,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location and additional factors. Compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus, equity or benefits. Responsibilities Develop market and strategic analysis, working with leadership and product management teams (e.g., market sizing, buy/build/partner assessment, competitive strategy/game theory). Develop commercial models, pricing/packaging strategies, business case, and financial models/projections. Work with cross‑functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, partner teams, etc.) to drive product‑specific GTM strategies (e.g., strategic partnerships, channel strategy and incentives, customer engineering/solutions architect community/feedback). Develop mid‑ and long‑term strategies, build new product and potential mergers and acquisitions business cases. Provide insightful data‑driven strategic recommendations to leadership, based on strategic insights, analysis, experience, and technical acumen.
