Head of Health Data Science — Digital Health

We are conducting a confidential search for a Head of Health Data Science to lead the digital health data science function within a leading organization. This is a high-impact, director-level opportunity based in Boston on a hybrid model for a senior data science leader who will drive the strategy and execution of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives applied to healthcare data, real-world evidence, and digital health platforms.
In this role, you will define and execute the health data science strategy, aligning with business and clinical objectives. You will lead development of ML/AI models for clinical decision support, patient outcomes prediction, and population health analytics. You will oversee real-world evidence (RWE) generation from electronic health records, claims data, and wearable/IoT sources, and build and scale a high-performing data science team specializing in healthcare and life sciences.
You will partner with product, engineering, and clinical teams to embed data science into digital health products, ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and responsible AI practices, and drive innovation in NLP for clinical text mining, medical imaging analytics, and genomics data integration. This is a rare opportunity to shape the data science trajectory of a growing digital health enterprise.
