Principal Contracts Administrator - CI Poly Required

Lorton, VA, or Franklin, MA - Hybrid Work Structure

The Principal Contracts Administrator will act as a key department Team Member and contributor, advising program leadership within an IPT structure on contractual issues and assuming the role of the primary official POC with the customer. Must have an active Top Secret SCI with a CI Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Attend/Support weekly BU and Division-level staff coordination and planning meetings
\n
• Review contractual documents and proposals to ensure active adherence to company policy, government specifications, and requirements and conformance to master agreements.
\n
• Review, redline, and negotiate NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and other contractual vehicles, coordinating with Contracts Leadership for approval and execution.
\n
• Participate in customer-facing discussions and negotiations, demonstrating a strong acumen for customer relationship management in highly complex contract environments.
\n
• Advise internal customers and management on contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of contract terms and conditions.
\n
• Provide leadership in contract execution, anticipate and resolve problems, and ensure inter-group communication and cooperation.
\n
• Assess issues, risks, and develop solutions and mitigation strategies.
\n
• Assist in the preparation and review/approve of cost proposals and narratives for contract proposals and changes.
\n
• Serves as business advisor to Program Management regarding contract negotiation and administration.
\n
• Provides working contract administration support for complex bids, including contract negotiation and teaming activities on new business opportunities.
\n
• Ensures effective implementation of contract responsibilities within corporate and regulatory objectives and requirements.
\n
• Reviews and resolves issues affecting contract performance and ensures contract compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and customer objectives; consults with operational staff and resolves matters of concern between contractor and government and/or prime contracts. These matters are often complex and require good business sense.
\n
• Detail oriented and organized. Able to understand work problems and procedures and ensure accuracy of contracts and bids.
\n
• Exercises a high degree of independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for developing solutions. Requires a significant degree of analytical ability to understand and interpret complex data and solve Detail-orientedcomplex problems.
\n
• Presents and discusses options to the management team to contribute to the success of new and existing business.
\n
• Maintains an in-depth working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and standard commercial procurement practices.
\n
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
\n

Required Qualifications:

\n
• Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years in contract management under federal prime contracts and to major USG subs, with a focus on services contracts.
\n
• Clearance: TS/SCI with CI polygraph
\n
• Experience negotiating terms and conditions for services and materials.
\n
• Successful track record of managing a variety of contract types (FFP, T&M, CP)
\n
• Experience interfacing with internal customers and other functional support staff.
\n
• Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
\n
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
\n
• Ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners/customers and interact with senior leadership of the Business Unit
\n
• Ability to resolve highly complex issues, develop negotiating strategies, and provide creative solutions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
\n
• Must be able to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
\n
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and other agency regulations as required.
\n
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience
