About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - PCU Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital PCU experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ALS, NIH Dysrhythmia interpretation Description: This position involves working in a progressive care unit. The unit has a total of 8 beds. There are typically 3 staff members during the day shift and 3 during the night shift. Patient ratios are 1:4. Common procedures include cardiac monitoring, medication management, respiratory support, post-surgical care, and blood transfusions. Candidates must have a strong communication skills and be team-oriented. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and leadership experience as a relief charge nurse. Experience with equipment such as EKG, bipap/cpap, and cardiac respiratory monitors is beneficial.
