• Required Qualifications: GA or compact license in hand; at least 18 months of experience in the specialty within the past 3 years; ACLS certification; vent experience not required.

• Float: Float rotation may not be required.
• Additional Information: This unit operates like an Intensive Care Unit but is considered an advanced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) due to staffing ratios. It admits 24-hour post-coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) cardiac surgery patients with chest tubes. No ventilator management is necessary, but LVADs are managed, and training will be provided. The nurse will be required to pass a proctored rhythm identification test with two chances.
