Logistics / Freight Forwarding Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking an entry-level Logistics & Freight Forwarding Supervisor to oversee daily shipping operations and support a team of coordinators. This role ensures shipments move efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulations while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Supervise daily freight operations (air, ocean, domestic & international) Monitor shipments from booking through delivery Review shipping documents for accuracy (B/L, AWB, invoices, ISF, AES) Support and guide logistics coordinators; assign daily tasks Coordinate with carriers, truckers, warehouses, and customs brokers Resolve shipment delays and customer issues Ensure compliance with company SOPs and trade regulations Requirements 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics Basic knowledge of air and ocean freight operations Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmenti> Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Excel Preferred Prior lead or team‑support experience Bilingual (Spanish a plus) Schedule Full-time | On‑site Salary Negotiable #J-18808-Ljbffr West Tech Shipping
