Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

$2203.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. Performs circulatory and assisting duties with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and procedural efficacy.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Circulate for cardiac catheterization and structural procedures, ensuring proper equipment and medication preparation.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during procedures, including scrubbing in with the MD as needed.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and sedation levels throughout procedures, responding to changes promptly.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately within Merge / Meditech systems, maintaining compliance with policies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with team members and patients to facilitate smooth workflow and positive patient experiences.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience with circulating and scrubbing skills.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate working knowledge of standard cath lab equipment and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Preferred RCIS or CVRN certification.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 4 x 10-hour shifts, with flexibility for call shifts up to 14 times per month.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills in a high-pressure environment.
